On April 7, 2024, Logan County Sheriff's Office Sergeant Charly Moua was in New Blaine late in the evening when he saw a truck drive by with no taillights. He attempted to pull the vehicle over and it failed to stop and increased speed to over 80 miles per hour. The truck turned on to Nichols Lane near Delaware and drove several miles down the gravel road and the driver fled into the woods on foot. When Sergeant Moua ran the license plate, it returned to a different vehicle. He ran the VIN number and the truck did not have insurance and the vehicle registration was expired. The vehicle was towed. Deputy Dylan Parr arrived and they searched the wooded area. They found the driver hiding in the woods near a house and the driver fled farther into the woods but Sergeant Moua caught him. The driver resisted and Sergeant Moua and Deputy Parr had to fight with him to get him handcuffed. He was identified as Donnie Edwards, 55, of Delaware. He was later found to have oxycodone on him. He has a suspended driver's license and has two Logan County warrants and an absconding warrant from Probation and Parole. He was transported to the Logan County Detention Center and booked in on the anticipated charges of felony fleeing by vehicle, fleeing by foot, reckless driving, speeding, possession of a controlled substance, no insurance, no vehicle registration, defective taillights, driving while driver's license is suspended, resisting arrest, and criminal mischief and on the three warrants.

On April 9, 2024, Tremayne Antoine Graham, 36, was arrested on a felony warrant from a previous incident in February where he fled from Paris Police officers in a vehicle and was arrested for D.W.I., possession of controlled substances, and other offenses some of which are felonies. On April 11th, Tremayne was given a bond by a judge that Tremayne did not like. Since he was in a Booking room cell, he was handcuffed and moved to the cellblock area. When the detention officers placed Tremayne in his cell in a cellblock and attempted to remove the handcuffs, Tremayne started to fight. The detention officers asked for assistance and deputies arrived. As they attempted to restrain Tremayne, he punched two officers in the face and spit on three officers. He was finally restrained and placed in a restraint chair. We are currently seeking a warrant for the anticipated felony charges of Battery in the Second Degree on Law Enforcement Officers (two counts) and Aggravated Assault upon a Law Enforcement Officer or an Employee of a Correctional Facility (three counts).

On March 18, 2024, Logan County Sheriff's Office deputies and investigators went to a residence on Spring Road in Delaware after receiving information that a stolen 2013 Polaris Razor side-by-side was at the address. They found the Razor side-by-side and confirmed that it was stolen out of Russellville. Jeffrey Wolfe, 49, who was staying in a camper near the residence, was arrested and transported to the Logan County Detention Center and booked in on the anticipated charge of Theft by Receiving.

On March 20, 2024, we all went back out to the same residence on Spring Road in Delaware after a lady saw her stolen trailer on Facebook Marketplace and the seller was Jeremiah Sims, 44, who lives at the residence. The victim's trailer was stolen from a place near Paris. When we arrived at the residence, we found the stolen trailer behind the residence. We also obtained a search warrant for the residence and found drug paraphernalia in the house. Michael Hunt, 45, who also lives in the residence, was arrested for misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Jeremiah Sims and Hailen Midwell, 38, who also lives in the residence, were arrested on the anticipated charge of Theft by Receiving for the stolen trailer. All were transported to the Logan County Detention Center and booked in. While at the Detention Center, the Detention staff found a glass smoking device and a small baggie with white residue hidden in Hailen's bra and she will have the additional charge of felony Furnishing a Prohibited Item into a Correctional Facility.
