On September 20, 2023, Toby Woods, 42, of Paris, was arrested on a warrant for Possession of Methamphetamines due an investigation by Narcotics Investigator Howard Bates.  Toby was in possession of a bag of a white crystal substance suspected of being methamphetamines.  The substance, which weighed 1.8 ounces, was field-tested and showed a presumptive positive reaction as methamphetamines.  Toby was also arrested on a warrant for Residential Burglary and Theft of Property in the burglary of a home on Sarten Lane in rural Logan County where two small motorcycles, a trailer, tools, and other items were stolen.  The trailer and motorcycles were recovered.  He is out of jail on a $40,000 bond.

 

On September 24, 2023, Patrol Sergeant Charly Moua was called to a neighbor dispute on Massey Road just north of Booneville.  While searching a vehicle at the residence, Sgt. Moua found a pipe suspected of being used for methamphetamines and a small baggie containing a crystal substance suspected of being methamphetamines.  The substance was field-tested and showed a presumptive positive reaction.  Barry Cook, 61, and Kasandra Rogers, 26, both of Booneville, were arrested, transported to the Logan County Detention Center, and booked in on the anticipated charges of

 

On August 28, 2023, investigators from the Logan County Sheriff's Office went to 8994 Old Military Road near Subiaco in an attempt to locate Michael Kincannon who was wanted for a felony warrant.  The homeowner, Shawna Davis, 34, lied and said Michael was not at the house.  The investigators surrounded the house and sent an investigator to the Sheriff's Office to get a search warrant.  Michael then came out of the house and was arrested.  Shawna was then arrested for hindering apprehension or prosecution.  Michael was also arrested for Theft by Receiving for a four-wheeler stolen out of Driggs and a separate count for a side-by-side UTV stolen out of Subiaco.  They were transported to the Logan County Detention Center.  Investigator Jared Petz is working this case.

 

On August 23, 2023, investigators from the Logan County Sheriff's Office executed a probable cause search warrant at a house on Carter Lane just outside of Subiaco. During the execution, Larry Robinson, 41, was taken into custody on a Logan County misdemeanor warrant. While searching Mr. Robinson, they found a used syringe and a plastic bag containing a crystal substance located in his shorts pocket. Investigators also located a handgun in the subject's bedroom along with digital scales, glass smoking pipes, empty plastic baggies, and digital scales. The crystal substance and paraphernalia were field tested, which showed a presumptive positive reaction as methamphetamine.  Another resident of the home, Marie Jane McCoy, 28, was also arrested due to the contraband. There was a young child asleep on the couch with the drug paraphernalia in the bedroom being accessible.  The child was removed from the home by the Arkansas Department of Human Services.  Larry and Marie were transported to the Logan County Detention Center and booked in on drug charges.
