On May 5, 2023, the Logan County Sheriff's Office, with the assistance of the Paris Police Department, executed a probable cause search warrant at a residence on North Express Street in Paris. The warrant was based on an investigation by Narcotics Investigator Howard Bates for the sale of methamphetamine by Milton Brown, 44, who also had two felony warrants.
