Drug Bust Near Booneville

Pursuant to a narcotics investigation by Logan County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Investigator Howard Bates, law enforcement officers from the Logan County Sheriff's Office, Booneville Police Department, 15th Judicial Drug Task Force, Probation & Parole, and Yell County Sheriff's Office went to a residence on Glendale Lane southwest of Booneville last week and conducted a probation/parole search. Robert Yarberry, 37, who is on probation, lives at the residence and was present for the search. Tara Hunko, 37, was also present at the residence.
The law enforcement officers found suspected crystal methamphetamines, digital scales with white crystal residue, smoking devices, and packing bags. The suspected crystal methamphetamine was field-tested and showed a positive presumptive reaction as methamphetamine. The total approximate weight of the crystal substance was 88 grams or 3.14 ounces.
Robert and Tara were arrested and transported to the Logan County Detention Center. Robert and Tara were booked in on presumptive charges of Possession of Methamphetamines with Purpose to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia with Purpose to Manufacture; Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Drug Premises. Robert was also booked in on a felony Failure to Appear warrant out of Pulaski County.
