Drug Bust in the Delaware Community

04/11/2022

On April 8, 2022, agents from Probation & Parole and the 15th Judicial District Drug Task and our Narcotics Investigator from the Logan County Sheriff's Office went to a residence on Jenkins Drive in the Delaware community in eastern Logan County for a parole compliance check.  During the compliance check, they found approximately 18 grams of a crystal substance that appeared to be methamphetamines in the residence.  They also found sets of digital scales, packing bags, and glass smoking devices that are alleged to be used for the distribution and use of controlled substances.  All contraband was field-tested and showed a positive presumptive reaction as methamphetamine.  A handgun was also found in the residence.  The residence had a security camera system that had several monitors in the residence with a live feed.  Jerry Reedy, 58, of Delaware, was arrested and transported to the Logan County Detention Center on the anticipated charges of Possession of Methamphetamines with the Purpose to Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Maintaining a Drug Premise, and Unlawful Use of a Communication Device.  Tara Hale, 40, of Dardanelle was arrested and transported to the Logan County Detention Center on the anticipated charges of Possession of Methamphetamines with the Purpose to Deliver and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  There was a third person present and the investigators have a further investigation on that person and it is anticipated that they will pursue a warrant for that person.
