Deputy Jesse Hicks Sworn-In as New Transport Officer

02/11/2022

Please welcome our newest Transport Officer, Deputy Jesse Hicks! He has worked as one of our 911 Dispatchers for almost three years and has previous experience as a reserve deputy sheriff in Oklahoma. Our Transport Officers transport inmates all around the state, serve as court security officers, serve as Detention Officers when not doing their other duties, and sometimes help out in the Patrol Division. Deputy Hicks will have to complete the 122-hour Part-Time Law Enforcement Officer Course and the 56-hour Jailer Course along with field-training in the Detention Center and Patrol Division.

In the photo, Deputy Hicks is being sworn-in by County Judge Ray Gack with Jesse's father, former Sheriff Boyd Hicks and I (Sheriff Jason Massey) observing.
