On January 28, 2022, the Logan County Sheriff's Office, with the assistance of the 15th Judicial Drug Task Force and the Arkansas State Police, executed a search warrant at a residence on Tanyard Mountain Road north of Paris. The search warrant was based upon the distribution of methamphetamine, marijuana, and suspected fentanyl pills.  The owner and resident of the house is Tyra Thompson, 49, and she was present when we executed the search warrant.  Jesse Hickox, 33, and Allen Miner, 25, were also in the residence.   The following items were found in the home and seized: suspected fentanyl pills, two small plastic bags with crystal substance suspected to be methamphetamines, drug paraphernalia consistent with the use of methamphetamines and marijuana, approximately $400.00 in currency, two sets of digital scales with a white crystal residue, three loaded firearms, approximately 316 grams of suspected marijuana (approximately 316 grams), THC wax, and THC edibles.  All of the items were seized by the Sheriff's Office except for the money and firearms and those were seized by the Drug Task Force for civil forfeiture.  The items were field-tested and showed a presumptive positive for methamphetamines and THC and will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory, along with the suspected fentanyl pills, for confirmation testing.

All three subjects were transported to the Logan County Detention Center and booked into the facility.  Tyra Thompson was booked in on the following presumptive charges: Possession of Methamphetamines with the Purpose to Deliver, Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession of Marijuana with Purpose to Deliver, Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Maintaining a Drug Premises, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession with the Purpose to Manufacture Drug Paraphernalia.

Jessie Hickox was booked in on the following presumptive charges: Possession of Methamphetamines with the Purpose to Deliver, Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession of Marijuana with Purpose to Deliver, Maintaining a Drug Premises, Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession with the Purpose to Manufacture Drug Paraphernalia, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

Allen Miner was booked in on the following presumptive charges: Possession of Methamphetamines with the Purpose to Deliver, Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession of Marijuana with Purpose to Deliver, Possession of Felony Drug Paraphernalia, Possession with the Purpose to Manufacture Drug Paraphernalia, Simultaneous Possession of Drugs and Firearms, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
