We appreciate the Golden City Assembly of God Church (south of Booneville on Golden City Road) for inviting the Logan County Sheriff's Office out to their church for their "Road Trip"-themed Vacation Bible School. Chief Deputy Joshua Scott, Deputy Dave Hill, and I (Sheriff Massey) spoke with the kids and showed them our police vehicles and equipment. I also flew our drone for them and showed them how it works. This was a lively bunch of kids who asked a lot of questions and it is encouraging to working with them on having a positive image of law enforcement. The church also plans on having their local volunteer fire department and Logan County E.M.S. stop by this week.
